In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Southwest Christian Stars basketball team scored a tight 67-65 triumph over the Mound-Westonka White Hawks.
In their next game, the Stars meet the Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) in a AA Section 5 match, on Tuesday, January 24. Southwest Christian will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record.
With the defeat, Mound-Westonka moves to 3-10 on the year. The White hawks host Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN) to meet the Tigers in a AAA Section 6 match on Monday, January 23. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-9. Hutchinson lost 67-58 in their recent non-league match against Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN)
