Idaho High School Basketball - The Ambrose School can't hold off New Plymouth

The New Plymouth Pilgrims basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host The Ambrose School Archers to 33 in the Pilgrims league victory on Friday.

The Pilgrims now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nampa Christian for a 2A Western Idaho contest on Monday, January 23. New Plymouth will battle a Trojans team coming off a 45-43 league win over Marsing (Marsing, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 12-3.

The Archers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Star (Eagle, ID). The Huskies come into the 2A Western Idaho contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, North Star was nudged by Compass Charter (Meridian, ID), 50-48, in a league contest.
