Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA) and the host North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA), saw Seaside's basketball squad knock off North Monterey County by a count of 65-49.

With the victory, Seaside upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA) to play the Mustangs in a PCAL - Mission challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Monte Vista Christian won 56-48 in their recent league challenge against Soledad (Soledad, CA)

Next up, the Condors play the Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA) in a PCAL - Mission challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. North Monterey County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
