Oregon High School Basketball - Umatilla can't hold off Nyssa

The Nyssa Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Umatilla Vikings to 49 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLoughlin for a 3A Eastern Oregon contest on Saturday, January 21. Nyssa will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 49-29 league loss to Burns (Burns, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-11.
The Vikings (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Vale (Vale, OR). The Vikings enter the 3A Eastern Oregon contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Vale nudged Riverside (Boardman, OR), 41-36, in a league contest.
