West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg South tops Wheeling Park

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) and the visiting Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV), saw Parkersburg South's basketball squad knock off Wheeling Park by a count of 68-53.

With the victory, Parkersburg South upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Dover (Dover, OH) to play the Crimson Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Crimson Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.

Next up, the Patriots play the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Wheeling Park will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 69-61 league loss to Brooke (Wellsburg, WV).
