The Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) basketball knocked off the host St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), 65-55 in Friday's league test.
The Lumberjacks (11-5) will now prepare for their test against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, East St. John notched a victory over Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 50-47, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Donaldsonville for a 3A District 8 test on Tuesday, January 24. St. James will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 44-35 league win over E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-9.
