Maine High School Basketball - Pine Tree Academy knocked off by Vinalhaven

The Vinalhaven Vikings basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Pine Tree Academy Breakers to 28 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Haven for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Vinalhaven will battle a Hawks team coming off a 81-31 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Jackman, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 0-5.
The Breakers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Academy (Waterville, ME). The Bereans enter the D South contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Temple Academy was defeated by Valley (Bingham, ME), 86-33, in a league contest.
