Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 58-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Polytechnic upgrades its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Parrots travel to Everman (Everman, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-10. Everman won 43-40 in their recent league bout against Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Scorpions play the Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. South Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-18 record after their 53-47 league loss to North Side (Fort Worth, TX).
