St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 75-40 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Michael's upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Horsemen travel to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Braves in a 3A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Santa Fe Indian lost 51-45 in their recent league bout against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM)

Next up, the Tigers play the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM) in a 3A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Raton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Blue Griffins go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 61-47 league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).
