Texas High School Basketball - The Colony holds off Reedy

January 20, 2023: The Colony, TX 75056

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the visiting Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX), saw The Colony's basketball squad hold off Reedy by a tally of 61-58.

With the victory, The Colony improves its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Creekview (Carrollton, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Creekview won 69-63 in their recent league challenge against Turner (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Lions confront the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Reedy will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 66-63 league win over Wakeland (Frisco, TX).
