The Tensas Academy Chiefs (St. Joseph, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA), 62-55 in Friday's league test.
The Chiefs (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA). The Knights go into the MAIS 2A District 3 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Northeast Baptist was tipped by Union Christian Academy (Farmerville, LA), 83-26, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Briarfield Academy for a MAIS 2A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 24. Riverdale Academy will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 85-52 league loss to Union Christian Academy (Farmerville, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-4.
