West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), 86-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Lyon upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA) to play the Dutchmen in a Siouxland bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Dutchmen come into the bout with a record of 11-3. MOC-Floyd Valley lost 75-65 in their recent league bout against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA)

Next up, the Orabs play the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Sheldon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 60-40 league win over Okoboji (Milford, IA).
