The West Warriors (Torrance, CA) basketball nipped the visiting South Spartans (Torrance, CA), 52-45 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Cardinals go into the Pioneer test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Lawndale got by El Segundo (El Segundo, CA), 54-31, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to North for a Pioneer test on Monday, January 23. South will encounter a Saxons team coming off a 65-58 league win over Torrance (Torrance, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 19-4.
