North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Onslow edges Wallace-Rose Hill

The Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), 78-71 in Friday's league test.

The Stallions (9-8) will now prepare for their test against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks go into the 2A Conference 6 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, North Lenoir got by Kinston (Kinston, NC), 69-60, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Pender for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Wallace-Rose Hill will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 60-46 league loss to West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-11.
