Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Three Rivers Wildcats (Three Rivers, MI), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Sturgis upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Trojans travel to Parchment (Parchment, MI) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Parchment won 65-52 in their recent league bout against Lawton (Lawton, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the South Haven Rams (South Haven, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Three Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 37-36 non-league loss to Bridgman (Bridgman, MI).
