The Wilton Beavers basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Tipton Tigers to 43 in the Beavers league victory on Friday.

The Beavers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince of Peace Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Wilton will battle a Irish team coming off a 76-46 non-league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Irish record now stands at 10-3.

The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals come into the River Valley contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Regina was routed by Durant (Durant, IA), 65-53, in a league contest.
