The Lutheran Lions basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder to 44 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis-Palmer for a contest on Tuesday, January 24.

The Thunder (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
