New Mexico High School Basketball - Espanola Valley trounces Moriarty

The Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 57-34 in Friday's non-league test.
The Sundevils (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Los Alamos was trounced by Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 48-40, in a non-league test.
The Pintos now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Taos for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Moriarty will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 41-27 non-league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
