The Newburyport Clippers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting North Andover Scarlet Knights to 41 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Clippers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Andover for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8.
The Scarlet Knights (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, MA). The Golden Warriors enter the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Andover ran past North Andover (North Andover, MA), 54-45, in a league contest.
