The Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), 51-50 in Friday's league test.
The Matadors (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans go into the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Thunderbird was edged by Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ), 50-47, in a league bout.
Next up, the Criminals clash with the Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Yuma will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
