In Friday's league outing, the Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI) basketball squad edged the visiting Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI), by a count of 63-60.

The Jaguars (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Trojans go into the Downriver outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Trenton held off Carlson (Gibraltar, MI), 52-37, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Downriver outing on Tuesday, January 24. Woodhaven will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 39-32 non-league win over Richard (Riverview, MI). The Bears record now stands at 6-6.
