The Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Mission Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA), 59-52 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA). The Pirates go into the Mountain test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Morro Bay was tipped by St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA), 69-17, in a league test.
The Royals now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Cabrillo for a Mountain test on Monday, January 23. Mission Prep will encounter a Conquistadores squad coming off a 55-34 league loss to Righetti (Santa Maria, CA). The Conquistadores record now stands at 9-10.
