The Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Male Bulldogs (Louisville, KY), 100-91 in Friday's league test.
The Rockets (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Cooper notched a victory over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY), 45-34, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Meade County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Male will encounter a Green Waves team coming off a 75-34 league win over Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Green Waves record now stands at 13-7.
