Iowa High School Basketball - North Scott can't hold off Assumption

The Assumption Knights basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting North Scott Lancers to 52 in the Knights league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a Mississippi contest on Friday, January 27. Assumption will battle a River Kings team coming off a 64-39 league win over Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 2-10.
The Lancers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA). The Sabers come into the Mississippi contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Central Clinton edged Davenport Central (Davenport, IA), 71-45, in a league contest.
