Oregon High School Basketball - Illinois Valley overwhelmed by Bandon

The Bandon Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Illinois Valley Cougars to 19 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakland for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Tuesday, January 24. Bandon will battle a Oakers team coming off a 47-12 league win over Reedsport (Reedsport, OR). The Oakers record now stands at 12-5.
The Cougars (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Panthers come into the 2A Valley Coast contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Gold Beach was routed by Waldport (Waldport, OR), 35-23, in a league contest.
