The Banks Academy Jets (Birmingham, AL) basketball felled the host Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Hoover, AL), 40-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Jets (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Coosa Valley Academy (Harpersville, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Coosa Valley Academy thwarted Heritage Christian Academy (Hoover, AL), 39-18, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pickens Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Heritage Christian Academy will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 66-17 non-league loss to Sparta Academy (Evergreen, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
