The Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) basketball knocked off the host John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA), 50-36 in Friday's league test.
The Bobcats (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA). The Yellowjackets go into the Cedar Run test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Osbourn Park notched a victory over Freedom (South Riding, VA), 60-29, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Patriot for a Cedar Run test on Friday, January 27. John Champe will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 61-36 league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-6.
