Colorado High School Basketball - Bear Creek nudges Pomona

January 20, 2023: Arvada, CO 80005

In Friday's league outing, the Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO) basketball squad edged the host Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO), by a margin of 59-53.

The Bears (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against D'Evelyn (Denver, CO). The Jaguars go into the 5A/4A Jeffco outing with a 14-0 record. In their last outing, D'Evelyn held off Standley Lake (Westminster, CO), 73-32, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Green Mountain for a 5A/4A Jeffco outing on Wednesday, January 25. Pomona will play a Rams squad coming off a 55-50 league loss to Littleton (Littleton, CO). The Rams record now stands at 8-5.
