In Friday's league outing, the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), by a margin of 57-20.
The Highlanders (17-0) will now prepare for their outing against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons go into the non-league outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Acalanes smashed Miramonte (Orinda, CA), 70-49, in a league outing.
The Yellowjackets now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop O'Dowd for a West Alameda County - Foothill outing on Tuesday, January 24. Berkeley will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 54-24 league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 11-6.
