The Caldwell Parish Spartans basketball team (Columbia, LA), was overwhelmed 59-26 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bolton Bears (Alexandria, LA)
The Bears now possess a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bunkie for a 3A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 24.
The Spartans (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Buckeye (Buckeye, LA). The Panthers come into the 3A District 2 battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, Buckeye trounced Jena (Jena, LA), 38-32, in a league battle.
