The Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Booker T. Washington Warriors to 42 in the Phoenix league triumph on Friday.

The Phoenix now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluff City for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23.

The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Memphis, TN). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record.
