Texas High School Basketball - Panhandle trounces Bovina

The Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) basketball crushed the host Bovina Mustangs (Bovina, TX), 82-24 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Farwell (Farwell, TX). The Steers go into the 2A Region I District 3 test with a 24-4 record. In their last test, Farwell walloped Vega (Vega, TX), 74-43, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Highland Park for a 2A Region I District 3 test on Monday, January 23. Bovina will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 41-32 league loss to Boys Ranch (Boys Ranch, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 3-14.
