Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX), 53-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Krum upgrades its record to 19-9 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Lions in a 4A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-17. Castleberry lost 57-44 in their recent league bout against Springtown (Springtown, TX)

Next up, the Bulls play the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 18-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 21-9 record after their 77-14 league win over Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX).
