Bristol Bay Angels (Naknek, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Togiak Huskies (Togiak, AK), 67-12 in a league bout.
With the win, Bristol Bay upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Angels host Chief Ivan Blanka (New Stuyahok, AK) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A Aleutian Chain bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Chief Ivan Blanka lost 52-48 in their recent league bout against Newhalen (Newhalen, AK)
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Tanalian Lynx (Port Alsworth, AK) in a 1A Aleutian Chain bout, on Friday, February 17. Togiak will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
