Michigan High School Basketball - Britton Deerfield topped by Summerfield

The Summerfield Bulldogs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Britton Deerfield Patriots to 30 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whiteford for a Tri-County contest on Tuesday, January 24. Summerfield will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 42-41 league loss to Erie-Mason (Erie, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-7.

The Patriots (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Adrian, MI). The Trojans come into the Tri-County contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Madison dropped by Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI), 44-27, in a league contest.
