The Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR), 40-36 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (8-6) will now prepare for their test against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights go into the 3A Far West test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, North Valley was tipped by Glide (Glide, OR), 41-33, in a league test.

The Bruins now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sutherlin for a 3A Far West test on Saturday, January 21. Brookings-Harbor will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-28 league win over St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-2.
