The Sanger Indians basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Burkburnett Bulldogs to 26 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wichita Falls for a 4A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Sanger will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 53-25 league loss to Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-17.

The Bulldogs (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX). The Huskies enter the 4A Region I District 7 contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Hirschi was routed by Gainesville (Gainesville, TX), 37-36, in a league contest.
