Wyoming High School Basketball - Niobrara County can't hold off Burns

The Burns Broncs basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Niobrara County Tigers to 40 in the Broncs league victory on Friday.

The Broncs now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Bluffs for a 2A Southeast contest on Saturday, January 21. Burns will battle a Hornets team coming off a 32-27 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 5-10.

The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast (Yoder, WY). The Cyclones come into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Southeast edged Mitchell (Mitchell, NE), 55-26, in a non-league contest.
