The Durand Railroaders basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Byron Eagles to 24 in the Railroaders league triumph on Friday.

The Railroaders now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hill-McCloy for a Mid-Michigan match on Tuesday, January 24. Durand will face a Rams team coming off a 50-21 league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Rams record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Byron moves to 3-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lakeville (Otisville, MI) to face the Falcons in a Mid-Michigan match on Tuesday, January 24. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 6-7. Lakeville won 38-33 in their recent league match against Chesaning (Chesaning, MI)
