Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), saw Goldwater's basketball squad knock off Cactus by a count of 50-33.

With the victory, Goldwater upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ) to play the Owls in a 4A West Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Agua Fria lost 60-25 in their recent league challenge against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

Next up, the Cobras play the Estrella Foothills Wolves (Goodyear, AZ) in a 4A West Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Cactus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record.
