Nevada High School Basketball - Spanish Springs crushes Carson

Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 62-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Spanish Springs upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Cougars host Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Northern bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Damonte Ranch lost 41-27 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Minden, NV)

Next up, the Senators play the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a 5A Northern bout, on Saturday, January 21. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 63-38 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
