The Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID) basketball felled the visiting St. John Bosco Academy Patriots (Cottonwood, ID), 37-27 in Friday's non-league test.

The Ramblers (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Salmon River (Riggins, ID). The Savages go into the 1A Long Pin test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Salmon River was beaten by Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID), 52-35, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Nezperce for a Freelance test on Tuesday, January 24. St. John Bosco Academy will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 52-4 non-league win over Kootenai (Harrison, ID). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-7.
