Texas High School Basketball - Cedar Hill thwarts Lake Ridge

The Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX) basketball knocked off the host Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX), 48-37 in Friday's league test.

The Longhorns (17-11) will now prepare for their test against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians go into the 6A Region II District 11 test with a 15-14 record. In their last test, Waxahachie went down by Skyline (Dallas, TX), 48-29, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 22-9 record. They play next when they host Duncanville for a 6A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, January 24. Lake Ridge will encounter a Panthers and Pantherettes squad coming off a 87-39 league win over Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 22-4.
