Texas High School Basketball - Celina knocked off by Panther Creek

The Panther Creek Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Celina Bobcats to 34 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aubrey for a 4A Region II District 11 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Panther Creek will battle a Chaparrals team coming off a 28-26 league loss to Ranchview (Irving, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 10-16.
The Bobcats (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Panthers enter the 4A Region II District 11 contest with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, Van Alstyne was knocked off by Anna (Anna, TX), 80-76, in a league bout.
