With the victory, Highland Baptist Christian upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA) to play the Eagles in a 1A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Central Catholic won 55-44 in their recent league challenge against Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) in a 1A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 60-21 league win over Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA).
