With the victory, Central Gwinnett improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to play the Hawks in a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Mill Creek lost 51-48 in their recent league challenge against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)

Next up, the Bears play the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 51-37 league loss to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA).
