The Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) basketball crushed the host Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), 48-24 in Friday's league test.

The Bruins (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 0-16 record. In their last test, Cedartown was trounced by Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA), 46-27, in a league test.
