The Central York Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting William Penn Bearcats to 22 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Grove for a York-Adams 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Central York will battle a Rockets team coming off a 59-54 league loss to New Oxford (New Oxford, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 5-11.
The Bearcats (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against New Oxford (New Oxford, PA). The Colonials come into the York-Adams 1 contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, New Oxford triumphed over Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA), 59-54, in a league contest.
