Virginia High School Basketball - Oakton topped by Centreville

The Centreville Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Oakton Cougars to 58 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lakes for a District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Centreville will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 41-30 league loss to James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 9-5.
The Cougars (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Chargers come into the District 1 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Chantilly was defeated by Westfield (Chantilly, VA), 50-35, in a league contest.
