Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC), 100-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Military Magnet Academy upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC) to play the Phoenix in a A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Palmetto Scholars Academy won 58-42 in their recent league bout against Burke (Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Riptide play the Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC) in a A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Charleston Math & Science will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 45-30 league loss to St. John's (John's Island, SC).
